Inner Wisdom’s Magic

Entrepreneur and Experiential Training Pioneer Tim Salmans discusses his hard-earned insights in his new book Inner Wisdom, Outer Impact and Leading Your Life from the Inside Out. With nearly three decades of experience helping corporate leaders, medical professionals, and others develop interpersonal and leadership skills, his approach to self-growth is not only inspirational but practical. Salmans believes that doing the “deep dive” work of the soul changes the world. And, that work requires accountability and authenticity.

He turns the approach to self-growth on its head by proclaiming we must start with nothing rather than with the more common strategy of saying to ourselves, “Here’s the problem and I’m going to fix it.” Starting with nothing allows us to embrace the creative, magical, and sometimes painful process of transformation and leads to amazing things showing up in the world around us. Salmans understands that as humans we want to run away from discomfort and disconnect from pain. Having gone through his own “soul death”, he helps us to recognize that “the pain you’re feeling is a reflection of the love you have to share.” While it might sound like serious business, and it is, Salmans also reminds us how important it is to play, laugh, and embrace our mistakes. In doing so, we not only grow but serve others in the process.

Creativity’s Grace

During this podcast, Mansi Bhatia and Joline Lenz discussed the importance of creativity.
Mansi advises us to discard limiting societal labels and remember the 3-year-old within who embraces creativity simply as part of our natural state of being. These techniques are meant to banish the self-doubt that keeps us fearful and hesitant. When we reclaim our natural creativity, in whatever form that may take, we don’t just reconnect with ourselves more deeply; we create ripples that touch everyone around us.

The Virtue of Courage

One of my favorite speeches on courage is by Teddy Roosevelt given in Paris, France, in April 1910. He said it is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or how the doer of deeds could have done better. Rather, what counts is the man who…

The Edge of Transformation

Joline Lenz had the opportunity to speak with Rita George during this podcast episode about the topic of transformation.

Rita came to see life experiences and healing through the lens of how we relate to power, how we access and trust our creative life force, and how we transform through crises into greater harmony and meaning. She shaped these spiritual insights into a practical strategy and comprehensive system for transformation that could be shared with others. Rita named this map the Isis Blueprint, and shared with the world through a model she developed called The Edge Transformational Program©.

She’s also written a number of books. One of her books, Stories from the Edge, is comprised of building blocks and stories. The stories she showcases provide the essential ingredients on successful transformation.

During this podcast, Rita shared some of these key ingredients to help awaken to our authentic selves, discover hidden talents, abilities and deepen our intuitive guidance. First, we must let go of the old.

“Rita George is a leadership coach, consultant, speaker, advocate and author in the field of strategic transformation. She brings deep, real-world insights, ancient wisdom and a broad knowledge base to transformational learning, spirituality, and awareness.”
